Sanjay Joshi Bio

 

Fiction writer. Also college professor. I'm an engineer by training and an engineering professor.  I was born in San Antonio, Texas to a psychologist/educator mother and a medical researcher father, both from India. After my brother was born, we moved to upstate New York. I took up a passion for the New York Yankees and Billy Joel. Unlike today, there were hardly any Indians in the US before my parents moved. So our generation of Indian-Americans was (almost) the first to be born in America. We didn't know exactly where we fit. We made up our own in-between culture. Now we have kids ... and they seem to have a lot of questions.
